2009 Swimathon

The 8th Annual Bay Ridge Marlins Swimathon
To benefit Pediatric Oncology at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center

In the past seven years, the Bay Ridge Marlins have combined with the Arundel Breakfast Club swimmers to raise over $200,000 for the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology Friends (POF), a volunteer organization that raises funds for research to cure childhood cancer.

All money raised by the event will directly support the research at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Care Center at Johns Hopkins.  The event has captured the imagination of many local Annapolis businesses that have committed to donating food for the hungry swimmers.
